What we take
Phones, tablets, laptops and consoles, whether they are working, faulty or barely alive. We buy devices other shops turn away, because we repair them ourselves rather than sending them on.
- Working devices: the straightforward case. Bring it in, we test it, and you get a price.
- Broken or faulty devices: cracked screens, dead batteries, water damage. Still worth something to us.
- Older models: worth less, but rarely worth nothing. Ask before you throw it away.
- Part exchange: put the value straight towards a refurbished device from our shop.
How it works
1. Bring it in
No appointment needed. Bring the device and, if you have them, the charger and box, as they add a little to the value.
2. We test it in front of you
We check the condition, the battery health, and whether anything is faulty. It takes a few minutes and you can watch.
3. You get a price
A real figure, explained. If you are not happy with it, you take your device home and that is that.
4. Paid on the spot
Accept and you are paid there and then, or the value goes against whatever you are buying from us.
Before you come in: back up anything you want to keep, and sign out of your accounts. On iPhone that means turning off Find My, and on Android it means removing your Google account. We cannot buy a device that is still locked to someone else.
What affects the price
Model and age, storage size, battery health, screen and body condition, whether anything is faulty, and what the device is currently selling for second hand. We are transparent about which of those is pulling your price down.
Your data
Every device we take in is wiped before it is resold. If a device is beyond economical repair and you ask us to dispose of it, storage is wiped or physically destroyed before recycling. Our full approach is set out in our privacy policy.
